The path which illuminates our ultimate destination. It is the mixture of several ingredients which makes the life savoury and exciting too. It is of great importance especially for our country like India. The bar of growth and development has been proved how India from the under developed country gradually paced towards developing country with a motive to become developed one. The entire credit goes to the power of education. In our country education policy had come into existence before 52 years back. It means in 1968 it was actually implemented with the policy of (10+1+3) which was implemented however the scenario of education was just unidentical comparatively not much more stress was given on women’s education. There were many problems faced by the girls and women of our country. Though after 18 years national education policy took a drastic change and it was upgraded version of the past education policy with (10+2+3) criteria followed since 1986 and it is still in existence with few modifications, improvisation and modernisation that were held in 1992 by Yaspal Committee. It is required to have dynamism in the field of education as well as in technology, perspective etc. “Change brings versatility and improvisation”.

📍The new government manifested the national education policy 2020 at the time of election. It was formulated and now it is going to implement the next latest version in the education sector. Relatively the new education policy would definitely provide tremendous transformation. The new education policy would be beneficial for the students as it’s a bonanza for the young ones. Even from the perspective of parents it would reduce their ambiguity about their wards’ future goals. As the stress would be given on the pupil’s field of interest through vocational training with overall development at school level. Discrimination will be eliminated to the great extent as students of senior classes will have the option of choosing their own interested subjects among each stream. It is a positive sign towards the growth in the area of education. It’s a commendable step of government to encourage the students not only for curricular but also for extra-curricular activities and would try to furnish on equal scales. With the perspective of teachers, the new education policy-2020 would make them one step ahead smarter, professional and innovative. So, we could say that it would be come out as an active learner and teacher policy. Those who are more optimistic than others and have resilient personalities would survive and adapt the new change in the field of education. Necessarily, improvisation and transformation is essential if we want to become independent and minimise the problem of brain- drain to null. Our country would explore more and everything provides us within a country whether suppliers, consumers, employees, employers, researchers, doctors, Scientists etc. The problem of unemployment would be reduced as the target is to make our nation fully literate so that no one will remain untouched with the education.

📍 Accordingly, our per capita income will be increased and GDP of our economy will be in the same way maximised manifold. It will become the sign of boom in the country and so we will move towards become the developed nation. Nevertheless, it will take money, time, hard work and integration of the nation as a whole and we know “Where there is a will there is a way.” In the new education policy one point has been put related to regional/ local language. Though fine to encourage and maintain the cultural environment unaffected in the country, besides if we will not do compulsion no one wants to give up their comfort zone. We all know English language is the international language we need to require if we want to communicate with foreigners. Our honourable, minister of education Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal also clarified that to make our country self reliant doesn’t mean to disconnect with other nations. More focus should be given on the national language instead of regional languages. It’s a good way to maintain the legacy among the folks of India. Even few states of India itself detest to communicate in our national language. Such type of discrimination should not be accepted by the government. We all know, everything has two sides one negative and other is positive hence by a proper measuring scale on the basis of few parameters we can evaluate which side has more weight. With an optimistic view we can easily transform negative points into positive ones. The main motive of making any policy is to do some changes in the present policy by taking the future into consideration. It is important that every rule, regulation or policy must be far away from the biasness. It would give a better frame to the old picture to make it new. Until schools weren’t focusing more on practical knowledge but more depend on rote learning.

📍Further, the new education policy -2020 will eradicate the rote learning system. Due to this pandemic situation students and teachers learnt about new ways of teaching-learning process with the assistance of virtual classes, live classes, recorded classes etc. Hence, it doesn’t bound and affect the study of our youngers and adults who are still seeking their respective courses. Our teachers who limited themselves in the teaching field spread their wings and came out of their boundaries. Its natural, initially every change seems complicated as human mind opposes such changes whereas change is the part of our life and we should accept it as a new updated version of the old one. Therefore we will definitely realise when we get fruitful results thereof. We know nothing is static. Whether we talk about our surrounding environment it changes with the passing days.

 📍Education policy must have such features which make every individual self reliant. So that no one becomes penniless. Accordingly, our honourable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has announced about “ATMA NIRBHAR BHARAT ABHIYAN” or “SELF RELIANT INDIA MISSION” on 12th of May 2020, with a view to make everyone employed who desire to do the work.

📍The Literacy rate of our country has increased from 64.80% to 74.04% approximately, since2001 to 2011 respectively. Whereas, females’ literacy rate increased with slow pace from 53.7% to 65.5% approximately. Target of our government is to attain the full literacy rate.

📍For the growth and development in the sector of education, contribution of NITI Aayog is of vital importance. It stands for National Institute for Transforming India which was came into existence on 1st of January 2015 and replaced the Planning Commission of India. NITI Aayog launched (SEQI) State Education Quality Index with the aim to evaluate the performance of States and Union Territories in the area of education.

 📍New Education Policy- 2020 would be delivering the biggest transformation in the field of education only if it will be implemented on ground well instead of papers.

📍In every aspect the new policy does always modify essential point by putting the vision into mind. It is a task of amendments wherever required to enhance the quality of education. Everything revolves around pros and cons, the thing which is needed to be kept in mind is to overcome or reduce the cons to some extent.

📍Overall a country can move towards the path of growth and development only if it has robust education policy. As the contribution of education is on the top of the list for making the nation, world wide reputed. Therefore it has to be considered that government take actions for improving the education sector towards right direction. A handsome package has to be spent over education with a view to attain the vision and mission simultaneously.

📍Education is one of the important pillars in the overall progression of a country. It needs to be lined up precisely because “PADHEGA INDIA TABHI TO BADHEGA INDIA.” No doubt government is doing his perpetual efforts but required more of it. Our country has a large percentage of Millennial who are the real assets of our nation for the transformation of coal into diamond. Integration, collaboration, consistency and foresightedness are the majors for making India developed nation with the objective of self-reliance.

📍Therefore the contribution and effort of each and every citizen should be stand by to make it worthwhile. “Education ensures our own recognition in every niche of the world. “Accordingly, the bright India will definitely glorify in the entire cosmos with a flag of pride and dignity.”
